Pollution is a word with several meanings, and although it does not refer only to environmental pollution, most of the time connotes this problem.
There are three basic types of pollution: air, water and soil. In spite of the existence of some variants or subtypes, its synthesis is advisable before knowing each type deeply.
Air pollution. It is often invisible to people, but at other times, the concentration of harmful particles becomes larger and can be noticed. This type of pollution is caused by the release of chemicals and particles into the Earth's atmosphere. The most common pollutants are sulfur dioxide, carbon monoxide, chlorofluorocarbons and nitrogen oxides.
